Damaged or faulty bike
Within the first 30 days
If your Peddle electric bike develops a fault within 30 days (this is 30 days from the day after you receive the goods), you can return it free of charge to your dealer, and they will give you a refund in-line with UK consumer laws (i.e. subject to inspection and no sign of abuse or misuse) or, if you prefer, a replacement bike (subject to availability).
After 30 days but within 6 months
If the fault cannot be repaired or replaced, then our dealer will give you a refund, or a partial refund if you want to keep the bike. Any replacement is subject to availability.
If your bike develops a fault within 6 months (this is 6 months from the day after you receive the goods) or within our warranty period, please follow the next steps:
Step-1
Should you suspect a fault with your product, please stop using the product immediately and contact our Customer Service Team or your local Peddle dealer directly. We/They will do everything we can to help fix the problem quickly.
Step-2
If we’re unable to resolve the problem we’ll refer your inquiry to our technical specialist who will contact you within two working days to carry out a remote assessment on the fault and advise on the next steps.
To help you get back on the road as quickly as possible, our technical team may suggest supplying a spare part / parts to resolve the matter. These parts will be delivered to you with clear instructions on how to replace the faulty part. These replacement parts do not need technical experience / knowledge for replacement.
Step-3
If we’re unable to resolve the problem remotely, Peddle would be happy to arrange collection at your cost so the issue can be properly diagnosed or ask you to take it back to your Peddle dealer. We will charge you the direct cost to us of collection. The costs of collection will be the same as our charges for standard delivery. A suitable date will be arranged for collection, this collection will take place between 8.00am and 5.30pm on a weekday.
If the electric bike is collected for inspection, our first remedy will be to diagnose the fault and assess whether the fault was present at the time of purchase or covered by the terms of the warranty, in which case we will repair the fault and resend the electric bike to you at our cost. This may take approx. 10 -15 days. A suitable date will be arranged to return the repaired electric bike to you, and delivery will take place between 8.00am and 5.30pm on a weekday. We will also refund you the collection cost of sending the bike to us.
If our diagnosis confirms that the fault was not present at the point of purchase or not covered by the warranty, then we will contact you to arrange to return the bike to you, as a gesture of goodwill, at our cost.
