Warranty

Subject to the following provisions, Peddle warrants that all goods will correspond with their specification at the time of purchase, be of satisfactory quality and will be free from defects, in material, and in workmanship.

Frames

Peddle offers a 5-year warranty on their frames for any problems relating to manufacturer workmanship, or arising from the material defects, including breakages or cracking caused while riding (other than rider misuse).

Battery

Peddle offers a 24-month warranty on the battery for any problems relating to manufacturer workmanship or arising from material defects. The warranty does not cover misuse, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s operational instructions correctly, or use the authorised and supplied charger/s.

Components

All other components are guaranteed for 24 months, for problems related to manufacturer workmanship, or arising from material defects, except for consumable components - for example: brake pads, tyres, and inner tubes.

The warranty will commence from the date the bike is received by the buyer.

Warranty conditions

The warranty applies to the original purchaser of the bike only and cannot be extended or transferred to a third party. Proof of purchase is required to make a claim under the warranty. We advise you to keep your box, since replacement boxes are not covered by the warranty. If you need a replacement box, we'll send you one for an additional fee.

Peddle reserves the right to physically inspect any product suspected of being faulty or defective. We may ask for images or descriptions of a fault to help us process a warranty claim before asking for the product to be returned. Any request for additional details is to assist us with the processing of a warranty claim.

When possible, we will look to repair or replace any faulty products free of charge in the first instance where a fault has been identified. Replacements will be offered on a like-for-like basis where the value of the replacement goods will match the value of the faulty goods at the original time of purchase. While we will endeavour to offer an exact replacement, we are not always able to guarantee replacement products will be an exact, aesthetic match for the original in terms of style, colour, or graphics, all of which may change between model years. Replacements will be offered based on stock availability at the time of a warranty claim.

Warranty exclusions

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly, improper maintenance or failure to undertake follow-up maintenance, or installation of parts or accessories. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect. Modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. Peddle is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer.
